Treatments

Techniques we use for your recovery

We are a team passionate about helping you regain your mobility and wellbeing. After an initial assessment, we combine these techniques into a personalized plan. All are available at the clinic and most also as home visits.

Electrotherapy

Application of electrical currents of different frequencies and intensities for therapeutic purposes: pain relief, anti-inflammatory effect and muscle stimulation.

Electroanalgesia

Low-frequency currents that modulate pain through the gate control theory and the release of endorphins, the body's natural painkillers. Indicated for chronic and acute pain, post-surgical pain and neuropathic pain.

Electrostimulation

Currents that produce controlled muscle contractions. Used for strengthening, preventing atrophy, muscle re-education after an injury and preparation before exercise.

Myofascial release

Manual technique that treats restrictions of the fascia, the tissue that wraps muscles, bones, organs and nerves. When the fascia tightens it can cause pain and limit movement. It can be performed by hand or with instruments.

Benefits

  • Relief of chronic and acute pain
  • Greater mobility and flexibility
  • Better posture
  • Reduced inflammation
  • Muscle and mental relaxation

Indicated for

  • Back, neck or joint pain
  • Sports injuries
  • Tension headaches
  • Postural problems
  • Stress and anxiety

Cupping

A technique of Chinese origin that applies cups creating suction on the skin. The suction draws blood to the treated area, improves circulation, relaxes tight muscles, helps eliminate toxins and stimulates the lymphatic system.

Kinesiotherapy

Movement as a therapeutic tool (from the Greek kinesis, movement). Through specific exercises we work to restore range of motion and strength, relieve pain, improve functions such as walking or lifting objects, and prevent future injuries.

Neurodynamics

Assessment and treatment of the peripheral nervous system through mobilization of the nerves along their path. It treats symptoms such as pain, numbness and tingling caused by nerve compression (herniated discs, bone spurs) or irritation.

Post-surgical recovery

Guided rehabilitation after knee, spine, shoulder and other surgeries: pain management, progressive recovery of strength and mobility, and a safe return to your activities. Also available at home, ideal during the first weeks.
